Safety Standards — Our Commitment to Passenger Safety

Safety is not a compliance exercise at CCG — it is the foundation of everything we do. Every driver, every vehicle, every journey is subject to our strict standards.

Driver Standards

Every CCG driver — whether employed directly or through our partner network — must meet our comprehensive driver standards before carrying a single passenger.

CPC Certification
All drivers hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) — mandatory under EU Directive 2003/59/EC. Annual refresher training required.
Driving Hours Compliance
All vehicles are fitted with digital tachographs. Our operations team monitors driving hours daily — zero tolerance for EU hours regulation violations.
DBS / Background Checks
All drivers on school group, youth and child-carrying contracts hold valid DBS checks (or national equivalent) appropriate to their country of operation.
Route Briefings
Before every journey, drivers receive a detailed briefing: route, timings, passenger needs, contingency protocols and emergency contact numbers.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Zero tolerance for alcohol or substance use. Random testing conducted at depots. Any violation results in immediate contract termination.

Vehicle Safety Inspections

Our fleet maintenance programme goes beyond legal minimums. We apply manufacturer service schedules strictly, and maintain detailed digital maintenance records for every vehicle.

Pre-Journey Safety Check
Driver performs a full pre-journey inspection checklist for every journey — tyres, lights, brakes, doors, fire extinguisher, first aid kit.
Weekly Workshop Inspection
All vehicles undergo a professional workshop inspection weekly, covering all safety-critical systems.
Annual MOT / TÜV
All vehicles hold valid roadworthiness certificates for their country of registration, renewed annually or as required.
Euro 6 Compliance
100% of our fleet meets Euro 6 emission and safety standards. No older vehicles in active service.
Seatbelts
Every seat on every vehicle has a functioning three-point seatbelt. Mandatory for school transport; standard across all services.

Operational Safety & 24/7 Monitoring

Our operations center in Amsterdam monitors every active vehicle in real time. If a vehicle deviates from its planned route, if a driver approaches their maximum hours, or if a mechanical alert triggers, our team responds immediately.

Real-Time GPS
Live position tracking on all vehicles, visible to our ops team and available to corporate clients via portal.
Breakdown Contingency
Every journey has a pre-assigned backup vehicle plan. Average replacement deployment time: under 45 minutes.
Incident Protocol
Clear escalation procedures for any incident — from minor delays to medical emergencies. All drivers trained.
